THEMATIC OUTPUT

National Clean-Up Month in the Philippines occurs every September, as declared by Proclamation No. 244. Clean-up month is a dedicated period to promote environmental responsibility and community engagement through organized clean-up activities. The goal of this event is to raise awareness about waste management and encourage active participation in maintaining cleaner environments. These events have so many benefits, including reducing pollution and protecting ecosystems. It may also strengthen community bonds through collaborative efforts.

TREE PLANTING

Planting tree is one of my ways to help the environment. Trees sequester carbon dioxide, produce oxygen, purify air, conserve soil, manage water, and support biodiversity. So planting trees has so many benefits to us and to Mother Earth; taking care of this habitat is a big contribution to our environment.

Clean up Drive

Joining a clean-up drive in school as an Interact club is one of many ways to protect the environment. We are doing this every Friday, and we call it Operation Linis. By cleaning the surroundings in school, we can mitigate the pollution and Diseases coming from the environment.

YCAP

Participating in this program can also help keep the environment clean. This program enhances community bonds and helps young individuals understand the importance of cleaning the environment and participating in this program. In this picture, we volunteer to clean the covered court of Brgy. Tay-ac.

REFLECTION

The first quarter has been a period of significant learning and growth. I've gained valuable insights into the timeline of the internet, the people who helped build it, the history of the internet in the Philippines, Different search engines and how they helped us find some information, and Blogs-How to use blogs, what's the use of blogs, and what is the purpose of blogs in our lives. These discoveries have broadened my understanding of the internet and equipped me with new tools to approach future tasks.

However, this period was not without its challenges. I encountered difficulties in balancing multiple projects, mastering a complex task, laziness, the distraction of social media, and cramming because of laziness. These problems initially caused delays, frustration, and many more.

To address these challenges, I adopted a proactive approach. I try to change and not be a lazy person, I try to manage my time, doing my activities ahead of time, and asking for help from my elders or teachers. By doing this strategies, I was able to overcome these obstacles and achieve meet deadlines, improving efficiency, enhance understanding and many more.

Moving forward, I will fucos on improving my self, and more responsible. I plan to achieve this by learning everyday, reading books, and listening to the discussion. I am confident that by continuing to learn and adapt, I can make even greater contributions in the coming quarters.

The importance of nutrition month in the philippines

IT's JULY AGAIN. What's happening in July?

In the Philippines, July is when we celebrate Nutrition Month. Nutrition Month is a yearly observance dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of proper nutrition and healthy eating habits. The theme is "In PPAN: Together for Sufficient Nutrition for all." This theme emphasizes the collective responsibility to ensure everyone has access to sufficient nutrition security as a fundamental right.

It is important to celebrate Nutrition Month, to spread awareness to all students that we need to eat healthy food, like fruits and vegetables. And we can gain knowledge about nutrition month. Here at Ilocos Sur National High School, the ICT faculty and Step Club form a contest for all grade levels. The contest was Nutri-jingle, Food Festival, Nutri-quiz, Extemporaneous speaking contest, Digital poster slogan making, Fruit or vegetable salad making, and oratorical contest. The SMC(Martinelli and Markov) students joined the nutri-jingle contest, the contest went smoothly, and they won among the 5 contestants. Our classmate also joined the nutri-quiz and the Fruit and vegetable contest.

The celebration was so happy and enjoyable, and a lot of students enjoyed the nutrition month celebration. Especially the food festival, because we experience making healthy foods and selling healthy foods.

Here are some Photos captured at the event.(CTTO)

Letter to the President.

 Dear Mr. President,

I'm writing to you today as a concerned citizen of the Philippines to share my opinion on our country.

I want you to know that many people are taking drugs in our country, so the number of drug dealers is not decreasing. In fact, the number increases. So I want you to have something to do with this. Another concern of mine was the Blueprint of the old Philippines that your father designed. I want u to implement that blueprint for us to become stable in the future. If Singapore can do it, we can also do it because that blueprint is within us.

And another one is those who have a high position in our country. And those corrupt politicians. A congressman was spotted watching a cockfighting match on his phone during the voting for the next House Speaker at the Batasang Pambansa. So many netizens were confused about these incidents; we can't help but think that many politicians are betting on a cockfighting match. I hope you have something to do with it because this will be the reason why the Philippines will go down. And these people are not gonna help in improving our Country.

But in all of that, I would like to appreciate all you did for our country. In your turn to be a president, the Philippines was improving slowly, and the farmers were helped in agriculture.
