Reflection

During the fourth quarter, I gained many learnings and discoveries from our lessons and activities. I learned how to be more creative, responsible, and cooperative with my classmates. Through projects like photoblogs and school celebrations, I discovered that teamwork and effort are important to complete our tasks successfully.

While doing our activities, I also encountered some challenges. Sometimes the tasks were difficult, and managing my time was not easy because of many school requirements. There were moments when I felt stressed or tired while finishing projects and assignments.

To address these challenges, I tried my best to manage my time well and focus on my tasks. I asked help from my classmates and teachers whenever I did not understand something. I also stayed patient and kept practicing so I could improve my work and finish it on time.

Moving on, I will continue to do my best in my studies and improve my skills. I will be more responsible, organized, and confident in completing my school tasks. I

Title: Celebrating National Women’s Month

National Women’s Month is celebrated every March to recognize the important role of women in society. In our school, we celebrated this event with happiness and respect. The celebration reminded us to appreciate the strength, courage, and achievements of women in our families and communities.

During the celebration, our school organized different activities for the students. There were programs, discussions, and creative activities that helped us learn more about women’s rights and equality. Many students also showed their support by wearing purple, which is the color for Women’s Month.

The celebration also included performances and presentations that honored women and their contributions. Students shared messages about respect, empowerment, and equal opportunities. It was inspiring to see everyone working together to support and appreciate women.

Overall, celebrating National Women’s Month helped us understand the importance of gender equality and respect. It was a meaningful experience that reminded us to value the role of women in building a better community.

A joyful Celebration my ISNHS Day Experience

The celebration of ISNHS Day was full of happiness and excitement. Many students participated in different activities to celebrate the anniversary of our school. Everyone was busy preparing for the event, and you could see smiles and teamwork everywhere. It was a special day for all of us because we were celebrating the history and achievements of ISNHS.

Before the event, we spent time making our props and practicing for the performance and parade. My classmates and I worked together to design and create our materials. During practice, we learned the proper movements and timing for our presentation. Even though it was tiring, it was also fun because we laughed and helped each other improve.

On the day of the celebration, the performances and parade were very colorful and lively. Students proudly showed their talents while teachers and visitors watched and cheered. The music, costumes, and decorations made the event even more memorable. It felt amazing to be part of such an important celebration for our school.

Overall, my ISNHS Day experience was unforgettable. It was not only about performing but also about teamwork, creativity, and school pride. I felt happy to celebrate the anniversary of our school with my friends and teachers, and it is a memory I will always remember.

MY DREAM , MY FUTURE

My Dream, My Future

Everyone has dreams for their future, and my dreams have changed as I grew up. When I was younger, my dream was to become a policewoman. I wanted to serve our country and help people, especially those who are poor and in need. I believed that by becoming a police officer, I could protect others and make my community a safer place. That dream came from my desire to do something good for society.

However, as time passed, my dreams changed. During my Grade 7 days, something happened that made me realize that the path of becoming a police officer might not be for me. Because of that experience, I decided to step back from that dream. Even though I changed my goal, my desire to help people and make a difference in their lives never changed.

Now, my new dream is to become a flight attendant. I believe that in this career, I can still help people in many ways. Flight attendants make sure passengers are safe, comfortable, and well taken care of during flights. They assist people from different countries and cultures, and they must stay calm and helpful in every situation. For me, being a flight attendant is a meaningful job because I can still serve and help others.

Another reason why I want to achieve this dream is my family. My family has sacrificed so much to support me and give me a better life. Because of their love and hard work, I want to succeed and make them proud. My goal is to become a flight attendant so I can repay them for everything they have done for me and give them a better future.

Always on Valentines day

Valentine’s Day has always been special to me, but this year felt more meaningful because it was filled with love in many different ways. My day started early in the morning when we attended our recognition ceremony at school. I felt proud and thankful as I received my award, knowing that my hard work paid off. Celebrating achievements on Valentine’s Day reminded me that love is not only about romance, but also about appreciating our efforts and the people who support us.

After the recognition, I spent time with my barkada and we decided to take pictures at a photo booth. We laughed, made funny poses, and captured memories that I know we will look back on someday. That moment showed me that Valentine’s Day is also about friendship. While many people focus on couples, I realized that being surrounded by genuine friends who cheer for you is just as meaningful.

In the afternoon, the celebration continued as we went to the beach to celebrate my brother’s birthday with our friends. The sound of the waves, the warm sun, and the simple foods we shared made everything feel peaceful and joyful. It was a different kind of Valentine’s celebration—less about fancy dates and more about family bonding. Watching my brother smile as we sang for him made the day even more unforgettable.

Overall, this Valentine’s Day was not just about hearts and flowers. It was about achievements, friendship, and family. It taught me that love comes in many forms and can be found in simple moments. According to an article from History.com (2023), Valentine’s Day has evolved over time and is now widely celebrated as a day to express love and affection to partners, family, and friends. This perfectly reflects how I experienced my Valentine’s Day—surrounded by the people who truly matter to me.

Intayon Festival of Ilocos Sur: Showcasing Ilocano Pride and Tradition

The Intayon Festival is one of the most anticipated annual celebrations in the province of Ilocos Sur. It is celebrated in the municipality of Santa Cruz as part of the town’s foundation anniversary. The word “Intayon” comes from an Ilocano term that means “let us go” or “let us move forward together,” which symbolizes unity and cooperation among the people. The festival reflects the strong bond of the community as residents, local officials, and visitors come together to celebrate their culture, traditions, and shared progress. Streets are decorated with colorful banners and props, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the town.

During the celebration, various activities are organized, such as street dancing competitions, cultural presentations, parades, and trade fairs. The street dancing is one of the major highlights because participants wear vibrant and creative costumes that represent the town’s livelihood, history, and identity. Each barangay prepares for months to showcase synchronized movements and energetic performances. The festival also promotes local products and small businesses, helping boost tourism and the local economy.

On the last day of the celebration, called “Ilocos Sur Night,” the excitement becomes even greater. Many people, including us, went to watch the grand concert held at Quirino Stadium. The stadium was packed with thousands of fans who were eager to see their favorite artists perform live. The crowd cheered loudly as different performers took the stage, creating an unforgettable and electrifying atmosphere. It truly felt like a grand culmination of the entire festival.

Several well-known artists performed during the concert, including Yeng Constantino, Earl Agustin, Adie, and Arthur Nery. The group Fitterkama also energized the audience with their performance. Everyone sang along to the songs, waved their lights, and enjoyed the night with friends and family. The concert made the Intayon Festival more memorable and meaningful because it brought people together not only through culture and tradition but also through music and celebration.

Rhythms of Tradition: Street Dancing in Vigan City

The Philippines is known for its colorful festivals that showcase culture, tradition, and community spirit. One of the most exciting celebrations that truly reflects this vibrant culture is the Vigan City Fiesta, held on January, and in the historic streets of the Heritage City of Vigan. Among the many activities during the fiesta, the street dancing event stands out as a crowd favorite.

The street dancing celebration brings together performers from different groups who proudly represent their school and present dances inspired by Vigan’s history, faith, and traditions. Dressed in bright and creative costumes, the dancers move in rhythm to lively music that echoes through the cobblestone streets. Each performance is full of energy, passion, and creativity, capturing the attention of both locals and tourists.

One of the performer in this event was Ilocos sur national high school this is the reason why I wanted to watch this street dancing event. They are so very talented and good at dancing. The festival queen was so good and beautiful, among with her was this handsome man.

As the parade moves through the city, the atmosphere becomes even more exciting. Spectators line the streets, cheering and taking photos and videos of the performances. The combination of music, dance, and heritage architecture creates a unique experience that can only be found in Vigan. The street dancing event not only entertains but also tells stories of the city’s rich cultural identity.

This celebration highlights the strong sense of unity among the people of Vigan. Performers, organizers, and spectators all come together to celebrate the fiesta, making the event lively and memorable. It also serves as a great opportunity to promote Vigan City as a destination filled with culture, creativity, and fun.

The street dancing event of the Vigan City Fiesta proves that tradition can be both meaningful and exciting. Through dance and music, the city proudly shares its heritage with the world, making every celebration a truly unforgettable experience.
